Returns & Refunds policy

Thank you for shopping at SunLight. We appreciate that you love the books you buy from us. However, we also understand that sometimes a return is necessary.

Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and our responsibilities regarding returns and refunds.

1. Returns of Physical Books

You have 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return for a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same pristine condition that you received it. This means:

  • No bends, creases, or scratches on the cover or spine.

  • No writing, highlighting, or torn pages.

  • The original packaging (e.g., shrink wrap) must be intact if it was shipped sealed.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Digital Products (eBooks, Audiobooks, PDFs): Due to the nature of digital content, all sales are final once the download link has been accessed or the file has been delivered. We cannot offer refunds for digital products.

  • Gift Cards.

  • Special Orders, Signed Copies, or Collectible Editions (unless damaged upon arrival).

  • Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

3. How to Initiate a Return

Please include the following info in your email:

  • Your order number.

  • The product name and reason for return.

  • Photos of the item (especially if you believe it was damaged on arrival).

We will respond promptly with instructions and the mailing address for your return. Please do not send returns without first contacting this team.

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • Our Error (Wrong or Damaged Item): If we made a mistake, we will provide a pre-paid shipping label for you.

  • Customer's Choice (Change of Mind): If you are returning an eligible item for any reason other than our error, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. The original shipping cost is also non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee we will receive your returned item.

5. Refunds (Once Your Return is Received)

After we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email notification.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.

  • Please note: Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account.

6. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same title, please contact Email.
